We invite you to the webinar «Circular business models and collaborative arrangements».
In the second webinar of CIRCLE webinar series “Rethinking circularity in bioeconomy” you will hear about the development of circular business models in the bioeconomy.
The principle of circular resource use is envisioned as gradually becoming a cornerstone of the economic and social fabric of our societies. Loop-closing practices will take an ever more prominent place in future business models. However, little is known about how these models could be structured and what factors enable or disable these practices. On the base of 12 real-life examples of circular business initiatives in four countries – Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Norway, this webinar discusses circular business models in agriculture, forestry and aquaculture, their efficiency and the contextual factors affecting them.
Speakers: Miķelis Grīviņš, Baltic Studies Centre (Latvia); Alberts Auziņš, Institute of Agricultural Resources and Economics (Latvia)
The webinar will take place on 11 January from 12:00 to 13:30 (CET) on Zoom.
